I can't believe Demonic's fwfr for Barefoot Gen, the IMDB tagline for which is "The Bombing Of Hiroshima As Seen Through The Eyes Of A Boy," has only gotten three votes.

Thanks Sludge. I thought about adding some more information, but figured there wasn't much else to say!
Other than... you can currently watch the whole film in ten minute chunks on Youtube as I did - it's quite unlike anything I've ever seen. Simultaneously mawkish and ridiculous, disturbing and painful. The five minutes of animation detailing the immediate effects of the bomb exploding are almost unbearable. |
