Don't worry, he's still around.
He writes essays not directly dealing with films at his website and the most recent is about telling jokes. Since the topic involved wit, brevity and Ebert is known for film reviews, I thought this would be a good opportunity to plug the site.
The whole article is worth reading, as are at least half the comments. |

Great article, and great idea to plug the site here! However, I'm not sure that highlighting reviews of Chatterbox is the best way to get new reviewers.  |
