Wow, I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the kind MERP(s) that approved 20 (yes, 20!) of my reviews yesterday... on the 20th... pushing me up to number 120 in the number of reviews ranks!

(Also, I'm 20 years old! It's like The Number 23, but with the number 20!)

Now here's hoping they all get 20 votes each.

And I was happy to get nine passed yesterday.

It's interesting how people's ages don't much come across here compared to many Internet contexts.

Yeah I agree. I didn't have a clue how old anyone was until I found the facebook group.

So how old did you think I was?

I knew how old you were, but even so I had and have a mental picture of you in your late twenties.

Oh right, I don't sound too young or old then, that's good.

It'd be interesting to know the ages of the youngest and oldest regular fwiffers actually. I would've been on here several years ago if I'd found it sooner!

I am one of the site's geezers, born June 2, 1945. Sympathy votes can be cast here.

Until aitch recently joined, I claim Super-Gran status. Next month I'll be 67 years young.

Voting might be a good way to prove your respect for the elderly

I take back that you cannot tell -- the older ones stand out by being the most shameless!

There have been a few aged about 10-12 that have been regular members for a short time, but the youngest long-term has probably been shoon (now about 21) from about 15. I had him in mind as well as the oldies.

I thought you were a little older than 20 [matt] - don't know why - I guess because we imagine others we don't see to be closely related to ourselves. I'm 32.

Since I recently hosted a 1943 vote-fest, I guess it's no secret that I'm 66 (probably the second oldest of the regular fwiffers).

Oh right, it's interesting that the average age of the regulars seems to be a fair bit older than me. Wonder why it is there aren't more fwiffers around my age? (Cue remarks about how my generation probably just lacks sufficient literacy skills.)

Yeah I obviously knew your age Larry, although I'd previously thought you were much younger (say, 30s or 40s) so that came as quite a surprise!

So I guess shoon can possibly claim the title of who's been a fwiffer for the highest percentage of their life?!

Out of the main recurrent characters, I'd say so. But Conan's and bife's daughters have probably aged more than fifty per cent since their first reviews, and I wouldn't be surprised if either submitted the occasional future review.

Having said that, Benj has been reviewing for a decade and is only in his early thirties, so he's in the same ball park as shoon.

BB, I'm impressed! I had no idea that you or our other "seniors" were that "old." I mean, like it is so cool that you guys use computers and the internet.

I'm 54 and have been told by younger participants on other forums that they didn't think I seemed that old. However, in about half of those cases, it was NOT a compliment.
