I don't know about everyone else, but I'm back in a period of some very perplexing rejections. The (I assume) new MERP is racing through first submissions while leaving second submissions (which in my case are mainly ones that were only rejected as over quota) to wallow. This imbalance is a bit of a frustration but the main problem is the hasty decision on many of the first submissions. Since I've been chasing my own Cine File accolades, I've submitted some reviews that should surely be safe (describe the films reasonably, are not too 'generic' &c.) and quite a few of them are getting rejected without either specified or conceivable reason.
