Reviews... get your fresh reviews...

And notes too...
The French New Wave's "Breathless" stars Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Seberg.
In "Is Anybody There?" a retired magician is suffering from Altzheimer's.
"State of Play" unsubtly riffs off of the classic conspiracy movies of the 70s.

Seize the day!

Hint:
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory:
Unlike Gene Wilder in the earlier version, Johny Depp's Willy Wonka is a bit of a freak.

I love the words 'befuddled' and 'bamboozled'.
(They're not in any of these reviews, I just thought I'd say I like them).

Anvil are a metal band who have inspired countless other bands, but have never made it big themselves. But they still keep playing, not giving up on their dream.

Are You The Favorite Person of Anybody? is a short in which John C. Reilly asks passers-by this question. Their answers are quite revealing.

Oh and thanks to whoever gave me a load of votes

Here goes nothing.

A little extra something:

Tsotsi features a South African homie who inadvertently kidnaps an infant. What's he to do?

In Doubt Streep is a critical sister with a crotchety demeanor.

I'm in.

Revolutionary Road notably reunites Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Spoiler (here and in the review): They have plans to move to Paris but don't go through with them.

Tough to pick up more than one vote at a time. Has the global recession hit fwfr too?

Oh, well.

Voted early. A good round - really enjoyed Yukon, [matt] and Lemmy's collections in particular.

Great swine flu pun here, GH!

(After a harrowing week of computer problems at work, and then a horrid virus on my home computer, I'm surprised I got the chance to view everyone this round, but I did!)
