It's getting harder to pick up votes these days or I'm just getting worse at this reviewing lark. Not sure which at the moment.
A confession: I quite like "Lady in the Water", perhaps it's because I rate Giamatti and Howard, partly because the score by James Newton Howard is particularly good. Don't know. I agree Night should not appear in his own films. Or write them.
And a question: Sludge... are you saying avoid "Touching the Void"? It's a fantastic film!

In fairness, and to add to Salopian's list, perhaps this TWFR should have been applied to The Abyss.
