Wow - just when I thought I'd seen every possible variation of this old favourite, I've just stumbled across this one for 'Jack and the Benastalk' ...
I seeded pea pole.
Hats off to Bigger Boat. That's now one of my favourites. I keep reading it to myself over and over and it keeps making me chuckle at the ingenuity of it.

That is good! Here's a link to it.
Can we create a canonical list of all variations on this? I have personally submitted:
Godfather III - I see dead papal. Half Past Dead - I see dead. Peeples. All Souls Day: Dia De Los Muertos - Ai! Si! Dead people!
This isn't the kind of list one can easily research, only co-operation would make it possible.

I say old boy, my heartfelt thanks for your praise - I've turned positively crimson with embarrassment!
Yes, I was quite proud of this one because I often look at a film title or phrase and think about how it could be written differently but pronounced the same (depending on your accent of course). I've done a few now but I won't list them here because it looks like we're going down a different line, but I may start a thread/workshop soon to look at these.
Alive - I season dead people. |

An early attempt from me here - not my best work and I've tended to avoid it ever since. |

This is a band wagon that I have for the most part let pass. I have two, both sort of off the wall.
