I've had a lot of reviews declined lately because they are 'just' my opinion. However, as far as I am concerned, it's fine to express our opinions about the films within the reviews. What do you think? |

Whilst it's impossible for me to make any useful comment here since I don't know what content of the reviews in question are... yes- opinions are fine, but it all comes down to whether the review ends up non-too-generic at the end of it all. |

Thanks.
There have been quite a few lately, but the most recent ones that prompted me to post this thread were for Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed and said that its content was stupid. They weren't generic as they each had some specific tie to it (mentioning the presenter, subject matter &c.). |

Well, I checked with the MERPs and realized my earlier statement was indeed not particularly useful. I should clarify: like summaries, opinions are allowed but only as long as they're based on correct information. |

Your opinion is only valid if it's right... for example if you think Transformers 2 is a good film - you're wrong! |

Whether something is a fact must be a matter of opinion.
That's my opinion anyway.

I can't really go into this in more detail without quoting the fwfrs in question here. Does the feedback you've gotten on the reviews themselves make no sense? |
