I've just had my review for 'Female Masturbation' rejected with another smart-alecky comment from my pals, the MERPs
My review: 'Thumb thing about Mary'
Rejection reason 'What - is she supposed to be a contortionist or something?'
I read this as meaning the review would stand except that the MERP thinks it wouldn't be physically possible for a woman to use her thumb to masturbate.
I can accept that using a thumb might not be the most conventional way for a woman to masturbate, but surely it's possible?
Girls - care to comment?

I'm loathe to side with a MERP, but contortionism aside, I wouldn't consider that a review worth arguing about. Too much crowbar, too little relevence or payoff for my particular tastes.
No disrespect intended, boyd. |

If I suddenly became a girl I'd probably use my finger, not my thumb - once I'd finished playing with my tits of course.

Of course, of course - were we girls, we'd all flick our beans with our fingers and not our thumbs. Probably. But we COULD use our thumbs if we chose to. Similarly, us gentlemen could pleasure our anuses with our thumbs if that's what floated our boats (any takers?)
The MERP has rejected my review because he/she considers female thumb masturbation to be a physical impossibility. Which it isn't.

Where did the MERP say that? The MERP appears to have said that use of the thumb would require some kind of contortion.
Remember that the movie in question is about female masturbation, not about a woman contortionist named Mary using her thumb for activities unspecified. I can't see anything in your 'review' that applies to this movie, so I can see clearly why it was declined. |

I vaguely seem to remember a story of someone sticking a thumb in a dike, but I don't think it was her own thumb, was it? |

I'm with the MERP on this one -- it's too much of a stretch.
On a side note, I am a contortionist and I like to masterbate by spanking the monkey with my feet |

I think you mean masturbate...
I'm sorry! I turned into an utter wanker just then!

The review is too vague, so the MERP should have said that or given 'Inaccurate' rather than this strange response. |

Thanks Salopian. My point exactly.
And thanks to everyone for your opinions. It was a fun thread - to read all your comments. Ha ha ha ha ha FWFR rules.
By the way - I couldn't help but notice how it's possible to get your message read a lot in a short space of time, simply by including the words 'girls' and 'masturbate' in the thread's title.
Must remember that for the future!

I was going to suggest "Thumping about Mary," Boydegg, but I see that you have it well in hand. |
