TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up

DA NEW ROOLZ

Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some world event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link. You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme.

52 years ago today, a little dog called Barker - or Laika, in her native Russian - was shot into space to see whether a living organism could survive space travel. Sputnik 2 was not meant to be retrieved so the little dog had always been a sacrifice to space research. In fact, she only lasted a few hours inside the craft, but that fact was supressed until 2002.

So - as a memorial to the brave pup, this week's theme is Dogs.

List all your films which entirely or primarily feature our bestest furry friends. Laika will like-ya .. Woof!
