I didn't know that, but even having seen and read nothing of the series that nugget of information manages to fit my general impression quite well... I tend to have a preference for my vampires to spectacularly and violently burn in the sunlight, not look pretty. Call me old fashioned.

But it does make me wonder - how do you kill a Twilight vampire? Hurt his feelings by telling him he's got a bad haircut?

'Much obliged, sir.
I liked the "Lears", although I thought I would find a "Lear, Lear." review in there too. Or was it snatched already by someone else?

I'm afraid that would just make him sulk. More.

I kind of like the Twilight books, wasn't that crazy about the first film, so I'm hoping the production values are better than in the first.

Actually, fire seems to be fairly destructive, as does lopping off the head. Then again, Twilight vampires aren't the first to tolerate the sun, Dracula was variously immune. In any case, I'm neither "Team Edward" nor "Team Jacob". I'm sort of "Team Jasper" or "Team Carlisle", and gladly so. I like my vampires with a bit of um, bite. Jasper, though, still *wants* to bite. And I am not fond of wimpy wolves. Ah well.
