Hey guys, how is everybody. I still check in every once and a while, so I thought I'd make my biannual whip round. Anyone who posts on this thread will get their first and last pages visited by me. This gives me a chance to catch up with old friends and check in on the nubies too. So I look forward to hearing from all of you, old and new.
Cheers, AM.
P.S Congrats on the big 10 guys, that's pretty cool.

Hi there. I see I've voted for quite a few of your reviews already, but I'll go through your pages more systematically later on when I have more time. Plenty of eminently votable reviews there. Cheers.

So, I've been kind of busy over the last couple of years.
I lost my job as a visual fx film editor, got a couple of credits before the pushed me out the door (so I'll always have that).
I got married to my girlfriend, a lovely Trinidadian girl, a mere year and a half after I met her. Just me, her and a friend on a remote beach in Tobago. We got a dog. His name is Alfie. I got a job as a waiter in a strip club (not the logical career path... I know, but it's never boring and some people like to tip big ).
We bought a flat in Woolwich, London. Not the best area, but the Olympics are just around the corner and it's improving.
I turned 30.
I experienced the Trinidad carnival for the first time. I highly recommend it.
Oh... and I've been growing my hair for about a year.
That's about it really.

Reminds me of Woody Allen in What's New Pussycat:
Michael James: Did you find a job? Victor Skakapopulis: Yeah, I got something at the striptease. I help the girls dress and undress. Michael James: Nice job. Victor Skakapopulis: Twenty francs a week. Michael James: Not very much. Victor Skakapopulis: It's all I can afford.
Good to hear from you and thanks for the sweet offer. Your twenty francs is in the mail.

Thanks for both the compliment & the votes. I've had a chance to reciprocate now. Inventive, ingenious stuff. Cheers.
