Way to go Koli -- churning out reviews, churning out years.

Happy Birthday.

Too kind, folks. My birthday will be complete if Man United can equalise and ideally win their Champions League match. Which reminds me...

Wow, thanks. I don't think anyone has greeted me with Mazal Tov before, on my birthday or otherwise. It's a nice first.

I was confident that Man United would do their usual thing of equalising in the last ten minutes, when their opponents were growing weary and possibly complacent, but it wasn't to be. Fortunately, I had other birthday treats to make up for it, including a rare Corgi model of a Morris Minor saloon. It was even the same colour as my first one: rose taupe.

That reminds me of my first speeding offence. The copper asked me the colour of the car (it was a sort of browny grey; very unusual). I told him: 'rose taupe'. He asked me to repeat it twice before remarking ruefully: 'I'll put it down as rosy grey'.

And again. I know it's not quite your birthday in F.W.F.R. time, but it is past midnight here and I need to go to bed and get up at six, as I have to teach for nine hours during 7:30--7:30 tomorrow.
