Sure, why not?

No real spoilers, but if you haven't seen Fargo, pay no attention to that one.

A huge thanks to the MERPs for the stellar job they are doing and helping me boost my accolades up to over 100. Which explains all the odd films I've posted the last two times. And for pushing me up the leaderboard. So let's give them some applause (with apologies to Denise Williams):

Lets hear it for the boys (and girls?)
Lets give the boys a hand
Lets hear it for our babies
You know you got to understand.

Thanks to lightning-quick approvals, I'll attempt two FYCTHs in a row.

For those not familiar with Werner Herzog's films:

Wild Blue Yonder is a poetic fantasy about a distant blue planet.

In White Diamond Herzog films a British scientist's flight in an experimental balloon.

Funny you should ask. Here is one of my more than 200 entries submitted to Roger Ebert's Limerick contest:

When viewing pornography, note
That the Hedgehog, of singular bloat
Still gets work, all he wants
Since his muscular schvantz
Most reliably deepens a throat.

Wish me luck!

late arrival

Infestation, a micro-budget effort about invasion by giant insects, was filmed with an American cast in Bulgaria, which is trying without success to look like America.

I was surprised not to find Till Death Us Do Part on the site already. Its the (first) big-screen version of the controversial sitcom of the same name. Both were written by Johnny Speight. (Speights infamous creation, the dogmatic racist Alf Garnett, was reincarnated in America as Archie Bunker.)
