NB:
In French, 'armes' is the word for weapons.
Jim Carrey plays a gay man in "I Love You, Phillip Morris"
"A Serious Man" is an update of a specific Biblical story.
My review for "Shutter Island" is constructed like a classic cryptic crossword puzzle, much like the film.... (anagrams of names feature, revealing some characters to not be who we thought they were)

Very nice. It would be especially good in an actual crossword as it contains a bluff anagram indicator as well as the real one.

Your Latin is better than I expected but still not up to degree standard, Foxboy. You must try harder.

I'm glad to have an excuse to bring this thread to the front again; it was obscured by numerous MIHAIs.

I don't think you needed to worry. People would have started with their fascinating V&V posts soon enough.

Good point. Done & dusted.

Not that I was worried; I was merely providing a public service.

Hmmm. Well, I'll check this one in a couple of days, when I've seen the movie.
