Those of you who have read books about the making of Oz or watched documentaries about the movie will be very familiar with Raabe, as he has been a near-constant presence in such projects. In his later years, he embraced his fame as the Munchkin coroner and made the most of it. His big scene is, to me, one of the film's best and most bizarre baroque touches -- complete with Raabe's absurdly scroll-like hat to match the death certificate he's carrying.
