TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up

DA EVEN NEWER ROOLZ

Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.

You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.

You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted. As a courtesy to the majority of fwfrs, you may only post a link that uses the http://www.fwfr.com domain name.

From this week each TA:MOU # will be removed when a new one takes its place. This is to deter re-visiting of expired threads.

Yours truly
Da Management

ON THIS DAY
in 1997, Tiger Woods became the youngest golfer to win The Masters Tournament. Whether you have any affinity for a game that involves far too much walking and the hitting and losing of balls, there have been some entertaining films made about and around the sport.

So drive your putter to the sand-trap and pick a caddy to sort out your niblets. Let's see your reviews for films about professional golfers. Don't park in the handicapped zone!

I'm not much into golf and I can only think of...

Happy Gilmore

I forgot all about Pat & Mike!

(Maybe because I usually think of the tennis from that movie.)

I'll enter this round later in the week, once B.B. has had chance to change the rules.

Just two strokes to the green...

The Legend of Bagger Vance

Tin Cup

I'll give some thought to a couple of extra putts.

Here's one:

Caddyshack

I took a Mulligan in that a couple of the above don't involve a golf pro, but they feature golf prominently.

Luckily I'm no rule-regulated pedant - besides your stuff is too clever to ignore!

Quite strange that you're always adding in new rules then really.

I don't have any reviews for films about professional golfers, so I'll just post this in case anyone wants to consider it.
