Things have been pretty quiet in the Fourum of late and there's not been much beyond the standard weekly roll of FYC and similar games to shake up the norm, and with fewer people than usual entering the FYC I've noticed a lot of people's good reviews are getting overlooked or undervoted and a general malaise is starting to creep into my toes along with the autumnal weather.
Well here's something that might whet the voting appetite and redress some balance. Recently we all experienced the 10th of October 2010 (10/10/10), and if you were aware of it (and awake at the time) possibly even 10.10am or 10.10pm.
So here's what to do... everyone who enters this game gives everyone else who enters 10 votes. That's it. That simple. The good thing is that through the power of community, if (say) ten people decide to join in everyone who enters gets 100 shiny new votes. The more the merrier. How does that sound?
So:
1. There's no need to post a link - just post a reply to this thread stating that you're playing.
2. Vote on the entrants before you - click on their name, then user's reviews and vote on any ten reviews from their collection - old or new, high flying or lowest scoring, middle ground... it's voter's choice, so... what you will.
3. As more people join visit their pages to return the 10.
3. Keep an eye on this thread to make sure you've given votes to all the entrants - we'll keep it going for the next two weeks (that's till the end of the month) to give people a chance to join in and do all their voting.
4. I'll run a tally of the entrants edited on this post - you'll have to keep your own tally of who you've visited and gifted your 10 clicks to.
5. If that's all clear, let's go.

I usually avoid these vote seeking threads, but just for change, why not. It should be easy enough to find 10 worth voting for and looking at the folk already in, shouldn't take too long either

I've referred to the BiggerBoat Moral Code and it would appear that where some of these exercises fall outside of my remit, this one works for me just fine.
Agree with Demonic that there have been too few votes flying around lately. I even went into the top 20 a couple of days ago and found that it was only a top 14 - I assume because there hadn't been votes for 20 reviews over the previous 24 hours. I've never seen that before in the five years I've been here.
Is everyone slowing down in preparation for the great redesign maybe?
