Hello fellows,
2010 implacably marched on into 2011, and it's now ten days into the new year, it's raining hard outside here in the UK and that must be the cue for some vote slinging.
Simple enough - post a link to your reviews that currently have 10 votes and we'll turn them magically into 11s.
I currently have about 180 of them at present, so because it's my game we'll set the limit to a maximum of 200 reviews. I've adapted the address line of my link below accordingly [first order reviews by number of votes received, then change the "start" number to your first review voted 10, then increase the number of "rows" to the number of 10s you have, up to a maximum of 200 of your reviews voted 10]. Oh, and importantly, leave it marked as "all" rather than "unvoted" then the reviews you've highlighted won't shift backwards when you get votes. Any serious problems with this just send me a PM and I'll work out the correct link for you.
If you can do all that - post your link and I'll look at every review and try and create some 11s for you! Usual game rules apply... if you enter a link you must apply voting goggles to everyone else's link. No time limit to enter this one, but once you've entered you can't re-enter with a new set of reviews at a later date. Keeping the set marked "all" means you won't need to alter your link as people vote, so that's discouraged too. Enjoy.

Wow, you've started a lot of vote-garnering threads lately, demonic. (No bad thing; just very noticeable!) |

I suppose it might seem that way, but I've only started three and not all that closely together (October 10th, December 25th, January 10th), certainly not compared to the threads that would overlap each other quite regularly a year or so ago. I'm hoping to generate a bit of energy which I feel has been missing from this part of the fourum for a while. I do wonder why people are more reticent to show their reviews these days, as demonstrated in the quieter FYCs. I'd be interested to know how the numbers of players in the last three or four years have dropped in the FYC to see if there's a general trend.
And just sent a wodge of votes to the both of you so far. |

Well, thanks to my Index you can do that comparison fairly conveniently. I find the numbers of participants in the F.Y.C.T.H. fine, although however pleased I am with a carefully crafted review it very rarely gets above five votes; I find the M.I.H.A.I. numbers (of participants and reviews) more disappointing, as I'm still going through films with at least three of my reviews. But I do find the weekly churn of rounds a little tedious, which is why I started this, though to no avail.

I was planning on joining that one, but the timing was off for me given how busy I've been and the amount of time it takes to construct that post. I will get round to it hopefully. |

Welcome gentlemen! Link looks perfect Larry - I'll do some voting on it a bit later. No ladies joining the game so far?
Edit: voted on everyone to here, and lamhasuas too. Trickier than expected as the large majority for all three had my vote already, but glad to push a few more over. |

Visited everyone to here listed as of January 14th.
Anybody else want to play? This is fun -- there are some really good reviews at the 'ten' level -- and I'm enjoying looking at them.

Thanks for all the votes so far, even (especially?) the two chunks of 9>10 ones! Anyway, just saying so because it has (comfortably) tipped me over 15,000 for my top 1,000, which has been a landmark just beyond my fingertips for a while. |
