Buncha fives.
Ah, wothehell - someone might need a minty-hinty. If that's not you - vote and move right along there ...
reading from left to right 1. OMG - I'm such a freakin loser, I got a tribute to myself! Yeah, I only WISH I were related to cine-pioneer Edwin S. Porter!
2. A genuine tribute to fwfr's Numero Uno - who lives in that city and is an editor extrordinaire. Unlike Edward G. Robinson in this film.
3. If you've only seen Cronenberg's The Thing, Howard Hawks' original featured James Arness (later, Marshall Dillon from Gunsmoke) as an alien being with DNA similar to your earthly carrot.
4. Talk about triumph over adversity! This documentary follows Bonnie's struggle to use her tootsies in place of her missing arms.
5. Jolly Japes as Tom Green's Bill Tree buttles for a kid named Bates. No, it ain't Norman. |

Spanish, Italian, Korean, Thai, Finnish
NB: In "The Headless Woman" Vero has a car accident and loses her memory. Emma, the matriarch of a rich Italian family has her life revitalised by an illicit affair in "I Am Love". In "Mother" the title character attempts to discover the truth behind the murder charge her son faces with increasingly desperate results. In "Uncle Boonmee" the title character's lost son returns transformed into a monkey creature.
