I posted this elsewhere but wanted to keep you all informed in the correct place for it.
From today, at the suggestion of the MERPs, the weekly review cap is upped to 50. We're optimistic we can keep up with the increased influx of reviews without a massive backlog returning to the site, so feel free to get submitting your extra 20 reviews before Monday... when the whole thing kicks off again... |

Thanks for this, but I'd rather it had been kept at thirty myself. I didn't at first like it lasting much longer than envisaged, but I've got used to it and it keeps things in check. Thirty is plenty for the best reviewers, so any extra allowance will mostly be used for boring reviews. I also can't believe that it will improve the quality of the MERPs' decisions (e.g. approving the ghastly "IV-ce Age" but not the admittedly equally unoriginal but older and much neater "Ice 4ge" or thinking that the second of two duplicates is the one to approve ). |

Perhaps you have decided to keep my cap at thirty? I just tried to resubmit one and it was auto-rejected. |

One advantage of the increase is that it will be easier to tackle the number of unreviewed films (not that I think those are the site's biggest problem, but they're still not ideal). Hopefully, people will still make some attempt to write reviews good enough for them to keep, unlike the person who has been disowning swathes of reviews on or before the day they're approved. |

It has let me submit a new one, so I guess it's the same sort of glitch that happened before. |

This problem is still continuing. I assume it's not intentional, but please let us know if it is. |

I *might* have lost count, but if I did, it was by a whopping *ten*! |
