Outlaw palefaced.

I have a Jane Russell story.

One time at a party I attended, someone brought along her hairdresser friend. He told us about when he worked at a salon in New York that caters to the rich and famous.

He said while he was still new there, he was one day sent to fetch the actress Jane Russell from where she was sitting with her hair in rollers, or something.

He said that when he entered the room, all the women were wearing pink smocks and so they all looked alike to him. He called out, "I'm here for Miss Russell!"

"Then this woman with shoulders so broad that any man would be proud to have them looked at me sternly and said, "I'M Miss Russell!"

ETA: Miss Russell is in good company, as my momster passed away last week.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and hope you find the support to help you through the time of loss.
