TA:MOU = Themed Anniversary: Moving On Up

DA EVEN NEWER ROOLZ

Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.

You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.

You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted. As a courtesy to the majority of fwfrs, you may only post a link that uses the http://www.fwfr.com domain name.

Each week's TA:MOU will be removed when a new one takes its place. This is to deter re-visiting of expired threads.

Yours truly
Da Management

N.B. THIS WEEK'S TA:MOU IS A BIT LATE TO GIVE PEOPLE A CHANCE TO CONSIDER DEMONIC'S SLIGHTLY DELAYED OFFERINGS.

ON THIS DAY
in 1824 the National Gallery was founded in London, gracing Trafalgar Square, offering over 2300 paintings for free viewing by the British public which collectively owns them. The collection has been added to ever since, purchased by a succession of directors from the public purse.

Let's celebrate the art world in film with your reviews of paintings and painters. Just to keep it simple, paintings can include anything painted in on or with oils, water colors, acrylics, spray cans, brushes, rollers, frescos, canvas. It does not include mixed media, sculpture, performance art, happenings, furniture design ... you get the idea.

OK - fill your palettes and let's get painting!
