Just been reading about the rare snowfall in NZ. I'm not sure whereabouts you are, but please let us know you're okay.

Penguin head Sean would be disappointed with the little snow that they got in his town yesterday. Unless they got a dumping overnight.

This snowstorm only hit the news as it went as far north as Auckland/Northland, which is on the same latitude as Tangier (Morocco, North Africa). The last time Auckland had snow was while Hitler was preparing to invade Poland.
As per usual, my town got nothing (never has). Wellington (the capital) got some, this video shows what a problem it was. |
