Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

A sampling of 50 years worth of films.

helpful hint
Arlene Donnelly Nelson's documentary features single-minded photographer Spencer Tunick whose schtick is to gather together willing crowds of people and photograph them naked.

In Beginners, the actor Goran Visnjic plays Christopher Plummer's flamboyant lover, in his first part playing a gay man. Plummer denies being homosexual to everyone, including his son, until after his wife dies.

It is also interesting to note that in the movie Human Nature they find an ape-man brought called "Puff" and try to civilize him.

Not sure why my 13th Warrior review can't garner even one vote.

Lemmy in for #741.

Five oldies stuck at two votes apiece.

Black Knight--The Arthurian Knight in question is played by the diminutive Alan Ladd.

Anyway...

Same spoiler as every other Se7en review (poor Gwyneth).

Buena Vista Social Club follows blues legend Ry Cooder who meets up with, and helps revive the careers of, the great jazz legends of Cuba.

I recently learned that Dustin Hoffman's iconic street crossing scene in Midnight Cowboy was not only unscripted, it was an authentic reaction to an actual NY cab driver being, well, a NY cab driver.

A craven collection of reviews

N.B.
Dick Durock plays Swamp Thing.
Bill Pullman is prematurely buried in "The Serpent and the Rainbow".
An executed serial killer becomes a malevolent electrical force in "Shocker".

It's lucky that no one has done that Dali/dally pun before, or that Tunick's/tunics one. Oh, wait...

Make your point if you have to but can you ditch the sarcasm? There's no call for it and it doesn't exactly fill the fourum with joy.

It doesn't exactly do any harm either and what does fill the Fourum with joy these days? Not a lot.

The first one doesn't matter too much, but the second example is the fourth highest review and a very obvious pun for the same film for which B.B. submitted hers. If people cannot even be bothered to do a cursory check of the top reviews let alone any others, then they're going to have to live with a similarly unceremonious response.

It does do harm, or I wouldn't have bothered to have mentioned it. Obviously it brings a snide negative tone to a community area and it's of no benefit to anyone other than yourself. As for the state of the fourum; what a very grown up response. It's like saying "well, the environment's fucked anyway, so who cares if I burn tyres in my back yard?"

You're right. So smack that report button - which is the easiest thing to do and let the MERPs get round to it. And if you must declare that the honour of your fourth highest review for a film has been besmirched just state it if you must but spare us the sarcasm. Do you think your way produces any positive effect at all?
