Seems like everybody is a genius hacker, when it comes to advancing the plot of any given film. I'm currently trying to sit through 'Mercury Rising' and even Bruce Willis is a grizzled FBI veteran with the ability to solve the inner-workings of those around him by solving the password to some crucial database.
Does everybody use obvious passwords in their lives, without so much as some random numbers, utilizing cap letters, or utilizing the shift keys to access the stuff above the keyboard numbers?
Just sayin' |

Yes. I read an article a few weeks ago that stated the most common password in the world is 123456, followed in the top 10 by 123456789, password, 12345, iloveyou and mguyxrocks (well, the last one was a little lower on the list, but highly recommended).
Yes, people choose really simple passwords (because remembering complex ones is hard!) |

Sites that aren't important (where I won't lose much if someone else gets in) I use simple but not obvious ones, i.e, it's very unlikely anyone will guess it/them.
For stuff like online banking I use random alphanumeric ones, e.g., "mh49wlkj28" etc, and make sure I commit them to memory. |

Actually, you share that password with at least 5 other people on this sight, but you're right... I hadn't guessed one of them was you |

I promise I have NO vested interest in this company, but if you are having password probs, I can highly recommend Roboform.
I've been using it for many years and have never had any of my literally HUNDREDS of passwords hacked. The company is trustworthy and efficient.
It pretty well eliminates the need to type in sensitive passwords - and many hackers rely on keystrokes to do the dirty.
It's not free, but it's very affordable, really simple to use, and proved itself over and over again.
Check it out for yourself. HelpfulBabe
