It's a fun shoot-em-up with a "why-didn't-I-think-of-that" premise. Lots of action and neat effects, and over-arching themes of redemption and men putting aside their differences to work toward a common goal.
I found it quite entertaining and even satisfying while actually watching the film -- then while thinking back on it afterward there wasn't much more to think about at all. Very very little going on beneath the surface here.
Not a terrible movie, though. See it if you have two hours to kill and can do so at a bargain price. |

| Agreed: well stated, Wheelie. The nicest surprise for me was how well Daniel Craig fit the strong-but-silent American movie cowboy type. Like SNAKES ON A PLANE, if the title piques your interest, go for it, because that's exactly what you get. Park some brain cells, pop some corn, and have some fun. |
