Former wife of Sean Connery, mother of Jason, and a very talented actress in her own right, nominated for a Best Supporting Oscar as Molly in Tom Jones. She also played Miss Rose in The Wicker Man.

I met her a couple of times back in the early 1970s, both at the home of my pal Victor Spinetti. I remember her as a quiet, intelligent person, but one who liked a good laugh.
