Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Thanks Merps

For Pulp Fiction, I have had "Dead N-Word Storage" in the reject/limbo queue for years. Whether you see it as a double standard, outside of Pulp Fiction it has not been acceptable for decades before and after the film's release for white people to use the N-word, outside of a "Mississippi Burning" type of role. So when it casually rolled off Tarantino's tongue when speaking with his pal Samuel L. Jackson, it was... surprising.

I revived the submission after running across this comment from Spike Lee:

quote:
Im not against the word, and I use it, but not excessively. And some people speak that way. But, Quentin is infatuated with that word. What does he want to be made an honorary black man?

So, thanks again MERPs or Benj for finally giving it a shot.

Naughties reviews

NB:
"Die Another Day" was Pierce Brosnan's last film as Bond.
"9 Songs" features the band Elbow.
In "The Fall" an injured stuntman called Walker meets a little girl called Alexandria in hospital.
