It is very popular in Four Your Consideration threads for people to post hints to their reviews; a practice I detest, yet have to live with. Apart from being blatantly obvious and/or incredibly condescending ("so that's what Citizen Kane is about"), these "hints," more often than not, spoil wonderfully witty reviews. Which is where this thread comes in.

Below is a link to a review of mine for Wonder Boys. The first person to get what it is should post an explanation of the review, and then post a link to one of their slightly obscure reviews. The person who figures that one out posts a link themselves, and the circle continues, providing a platform for more esoteric reviews.

Wonder Boys

PS. This is clearly not an alternative to the FYCTH rounds; nor am I saying that people should stop posting hints there. I would prefer it that way, obviously, but I can also try and avert my eyes for the sake of congeniality. I am such a martyr.

I actually have a review for Song of Norway that has the same basis, BiggerBoat.

Just had this one approved. Entered it into FYC but hasn't done as well as I thought it might, so I guess it is a bit obscure. Anyone? Anyone?

I suppose it must be a pun on Once More With Feeling, originally a 1960 Stanley Donen film starring Yul Brynner, and also latterly a Buffy episode which was apparently made into a musical - though I never saw that!

Can anyone explain these two?

Yes.

Correctomundo.

Although I didn't know about either of those. To be honest I always thought it was a general term used by camp directors to admonish bad acting during rehearsals.

Google makes things too easy these days.

The whole film is loaded is Masonic imagery, by the way, starting with the opening song.

I did not realized there was such imagery. Now that I think about it, it's apparent. Interesting.

A few years ago I read "Rule by Secrecy" by Jim Mars.

My review

Bloody battle in Liu's place 'The House of Blue Leaves'.

What is the 'extra' Here?

A hint--It's a tribute review.

Is it a tribute to the reviewer Yelnats?

Bingo!, or should I say !ogniB.

That sounds like a massive hint.

It's as good a work of fiction as any other, I guess.

Okay, I actually know this, but since I got the last one I'll give someone else a chance. I'll login when I get to the office, if it's still unanswered I'll go at it.

Edit: Come on people...don't make me have to find another review for this thread. There's gotta be someone besides me that gets Mr. S's review!

Okay folks...impress me. Someone already did, a long time ago when it got a vote.

Is it a method the Free Masons use to raise the dead? (And in the film simba is gripped and raised by his ear by his parent)
