Well, Sal, it was probably your promotion of me in this thread that induced someone to give me a slew of votes. So, thanks for that.

And this* still goes to the wonderful person who gave me the votes.

 * Yay!! 10,000+ votes. Thanks for nudging me over my goal!

Yes, wildheartlivie and I are still neck-and-neck, more or less. Usually, at the end of the week, I'm a bit behind (I've had a few more rejections than usual lately). We're both gunning for MM0rkeleb and for Downtown, and should overtake them in the next couple of weeks... then it's a race to see who can be the 25th most active reviewer.

Funny thing is, I was just about to drop out of FWFR, or slow way down, when whl pointed out our competition. Plus, I realized I was getting close to 10,000 votes for my reviews (I'm just 70 away as I type this), which seemed like a nifty milestone. Of course, my ego deflated when I saw that whl has 17,000 votes for the same number of reviews. Oh, well...

Well that is because I pimp harder, or at least did so in the past. And I've been here a couple years longer, going on 4 years.

I must say, you pointed out things in a couple of them that I didn't see or didn't realize.

Is it the alarm-clock thing (which I didn't notice myself till today) and "Rose raise"?

 Larry
There are lots of tired surname puns on here, so it's nice to see one that I don't remember.
Simply the best review for this film.
 And another food-related one.
 As in Sid Caesar.
 I like words in words.
Luna is the actor's name, so this is not one of those cases where the character has been named according to a characteristic.
 The actress is Eve Lilith.
Hal's character is unexpectedly successful against the Mayor et al.
O.K., it's not literally about a bucket, but I'm ashamed to say that I also have a review along those lines, and I like this version too.
 Good bit of alliteration.

 wildheartlivie
 Another good bit of alliteration.
I don't know this film but from the summary this seems to be a good combination of references.
This is part of a nice matching set for the trilogy, but this one has the added dimension of the alarm-clock image.
I love this kind of themed review.
As with my also undervoted reviews for this film
, I like the reference to their previous outing, and the semantic/phonetic link between the middle words. Good point.
I like a pre-existing phrase ending up having a more literal application to a film.
Don't know why I didn't think of this!
 Nice pair.

                | w22dheartlivie | Posted - 03/15/2010 : 01:50:48 Thanks, Salopian, though I'd rather pass you with more reviews rather than see you get rid of any (though I'd say that I just posted 15 new reviews just now for consideration). You're a swell!!
