But once the penguins arrive, the story is secondary - nudged valiantly along by Jim Carrey who is extremely talented and I don't care whether you like him or not. But he's really just phoning this one in. The real stars of the show, of course, are the team of sfx wizards who made those gentoos so real you want to keep throwing fish at the screen. Lotsa cute.
