Sorry for starting a new thread -- I couldn't find the old one(s).
With the book and the book website kicking around, I was just wondering whether this site is still going to be visually redesigned. (Is it waiting for the technical redesign to be done?) Will it be black and white? I just suddenly thought about accolade trophies -- a lot of them incorporate one or both of the greens and are going to look rather bizarre.
I think we should definitely aim to amend all of those when it comes to it, including those of inactive members. I don't mind doing some if given instructions on how to do so in Paint, the only applicable application I have. |

The point is that it set a tone of dismissal towards people's thoughts. You may not have literally meant that people had suddenly thought of it (though your comments elsewhere that no one had ever wanted this before meant that you might well have done), but metaphorically presenting it as a sudden whim means that you literally thought it was unimportant and baseless. |

I haven't 'contorted' the thread: it has diverged naturally. If a thread diverges into another significant area, it's totally appropriate to rename it for clarity.
No one, literally no one, on this site is as careful about putting threads in the correct sections and putting posts in the right threads as I am. I'm therefore upset that you choose to make that point against me rather than all the serial offenders on that front. |
