Mampers new Bambi review. There also was that 'Yearling' movie.
Edit: Make that any mention of a deer being shot in Bambi
Uh... I don't get why there's a problem with this... Though it happens off-screen, Bambi's mommy was indeed shot, no?
Indeed. And later in the film, Bambi himself was shot too, although not killed - his father came along and ordered him to get up in order to escape the forest fire.
But I think Titan's point is that the deer-gets-shot scenario is not unique to Bambi: it's also in The Yearling (1946).
Whether that renders all the 'shot deer' reviews generic is for Benj to decide - the 'how many films a review could apply to before it's classed as generic' question is not new, and will continue to rumble on... |

Whilst true, I don't think any of us (including benj) believe that a review applying to two films would qualify it as generic.
To my mind, a review referring to a deer being shot is 100% bona fide for Bambi |

Nah- not many films I can think of which are reknowned for a deer being shot, so I don't feel this is a blatant generic. |

Tori's review to LA MALA EDUCACION:
French schoolboys get abused.
Spot the mistake...
Update: I notice this post has been ignored.
No doubt French Schoolboys do get abused, but not in this film, as its Spanish, with not a French schoolboy in sight, not as far as I ecole recall.
Muchas Gracias. |

The execution in Dead Man Walking is carried out by lethal injection - not by electric chair. But there are a number of reviews based on 'electric', 'shock', or 'fry':
rand (x2) Jon Bandit Palefox Spontaneous Human Combustion and possibly Benager |

Although its a funny review, "RobinHook: Men in Tights" for Hook looks like its sneaking in a fifth word. |

The reference to football here
http://www.fwfr.com/display.asp?ID=12124
suggests that toonbug is referring to the 1978 'Heaven Can Wait' which has nothing to do with the Ameche film but is a remake of 'Here Comes Mr. Jordan'. |

Also, jeep's review for this film should read "Angel", I think. |

The Fatal Glass of Beer has plenty of reviews that don't seem to be related to the movie. There's no death in it from what I can see. |
