Some meat for the holiday!

The menu, sir? But of course

The Man called Horse is not only well hung, but quite chewed up.

In this film, Porkchop is not very nice.

DeNiro plays the Frankenstein monster, a sometimes shy creature created by that lady in the title.

Cartoon Goofy's garden becomes over-gophered.

Adam Sandler attempts a re-visioning of a Capra classic. Oy!

Lemmy in for #978.

Sarah Polley’s Stories We Tell investigates her mother’s life and specifically the extra-marital affair that resulted in her birth by interviewing several of the people involved. There are a number of contradictions and different points of view, not unlike a certain Kurowsawa film we all know.

The tagline for Roland Emmerich’s embarrassing 2012 was ‘We Were Warned’.

Daniel Auteuil plays a feisty well-digger in La Fille de Puisatier.

Le Deuxieme Souffle here is a 2007 remake of the J-P Melville classic.

History, according to the movies...

NB:
Russell Crowe's nickname is Rusty.
Peter O'Toole takes on the role of Henry II again in "The Lion in Winter".
Patrick Bergin played Robin Hood in the (other) 1991 version.
Alec Guinness' Marcus Aurelius is assassinated by his son in "Fall of the Roman Empire".
