Yes, but... was the 2nd one better than the 3rd? It is an accolade for the 2nd movie, isn't it?

Otherwise I would have mentioned the 3rd Harry Potter movie which was better than 1 or 2. (Haven't seen the 4th one yet, though.)

Superman 2 kicks ass because of Zod and his gang of ex-pats.

The French Connection 2, Popeye on Drugs...

Airplane 2. funnier and more gags.

Hellraiser 2, when the franchise really took off.

Just shows how terrible Highlander 2 is. I loved the original and felt personally betrayed after seeing the sequel at the cinema.
