Got everyone so far - and thank you M0rkeleb for reminding me of the film The Draughtsman's Contract! Just submitted a few reviews for that one. Great film, too!

VV & all that. I think the reviews for following films hv been overlooked in this FYC, so I am listing them here.
Chazbo's review for Jumanji (1995)
M0rkeleb's review for Draughtsman's Contract, The (1982)

btw, is having a "?" in the review a liability? i'm asking 'coz I thought my Indiana Jones 4 review was better than, say, my review for Jurassic Park 4 but the latter got far more votes.

Sean set the times, I believe, so I would think they are designed to accommodate New Zealand. I've only entered soon after six when I've been up late, not early...

The time was designed to be as convenient as possible for as many as possible. There was a lot of guesswork involved, as I had no idea at the time what users' habits were, i.e., who are the early risers, who are the night owls, and who are the users who visit fwfr at work when the boss isn't looking. Not to mention the fact that most of those who were around at the inception of FYCTH are no longer active and have been replaced by others with different habits in different time zones.

I'd guess a random time would be as good as any. The current time for starting a new round is convenient for me in winter (5pm) but not in summer (7pm) as I'm doing other things at that time. Also, there seem to be enough users to fill two pages of initial entries, so some are always going to be on page 2, not that that's a problem.

BTW, redPen, here's a good guide to fwfrer time zones, in case you're ever wondering what the time is for some of the rest of us. This covers most time zones, Eastern Staters USA are in the same zone as Toronto. And you can add/remove time zones to it if you want.

BTW, vvv.

The time's completely fine by me - except for when people start the round early. At least once I stayed up all night mainly because I wanted to start the round, and then someone of course did jump the gun (cannot remember who).

VV. I have no problem with the FYCTH start time. Everybody knows there's going to be more than the one page.
