This is just a time check. I've been at this for nearly four years, regularly -- and if that doesn't confirm my player-geek-superman-bill collecter status, nothing does!

We could go through the reviews and look for your earliest entries, but why don't you just tell us: How long have you been fwfrrring?

January 24, 2003 got me started,

2003 was a very upsetting year for me. It was my first year in college and I was going through a major depression. I didn't have a whole lot of friends I could confide in. FWFR helped ease that pain, and I've been addicted ever since.

I joined at the end of December 2005 (yes, I haven't completed my first year here yet) as a whim when someone from one of my review sites told me about it.

Joined in March 2006, so that makes not quite 7 months. Instantly addicted

April 2003. Wrote 500 in 5 months, few were any good. So I got bored, then quit for 8 months. Then I came back in April 2004, saw what noncentz and Corduroy Pillow had done in my absence and realised there must be more to fwfring than just churning out.... four worders. So I aspired to reach something like half their quality level. Been writing about 6/week since then. Still trying.

August 2002 FWFR was website of the day on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on Radio 2, I hung around a short while and wrote some reviews, then popped back periodically.

June 2004 my then head of department when loopy and started trying to bully me so I needed a release so I came back and found I needed an account. Created an account then started slowly at first.

I came across 2 reviews that I had submitted gave Benj the proof and they were mine.

Been here everyday since.

April 2004. Can't remember how I stumbled upon the site. I was immediately flabbergasted by noncentz. Wish he would come back.

February 2004. Can't remember how I came across it. Two of my first batch of reviews started attracting votes, and pretty soon I was hooked.

BTW I haven't been around for a couple of weeks, but my team at work is back up to full strength as from tomorrow (two new people starting - yippee!), so I should be able to spend more time on the site again soon.

Round about April 2004 the site was featured in The Guardian, so I had a quick shufti, thought about it, tried a few and had my first accepted May 2004. I tended to pop in occasionally thereafter but it took a while for me to become truly addicted.

Having no Internet access at work has definately slowed me down.
Otherwise, by now I'd have spent a whole work day reviewing, been caught on an audit, fired and would now be unemployed, sitting at home all day watching old movies and reviewing.

Somewhere around the end of August (2006) I ran across the site when I ran a Google search for some obscure actor and followed the link. I spent some time reading, then decided maybe I could do this. I'm still trying!!

First review posted in April 2003. Been here ever since.

There are long stretches where I write nearly no reviews, but I always stay active in the Fourum.

First review was November 6, 2003. Found the site through a profile in a Toronto newspaper. Logged 451 reviews by the end of the year. Shortly after I joined, a fellow named Aussiecanuck came on board and he had that many reviews in less than a month as I recall.

Born June 2006, I just might be one of the youngest babes in the nursery!

That's just over 1,300 reviews in just under 5 months! You might say I enjoy the site a bit!

My first approval was April 9, 2005 for Dr. Strangelove. Found the site through the Guardian website's movie page, and been hooked since! I now have the reflex of attempting an fwfr for every movie i see and still trying to crack it.. though i know there's a few classic reviews out there that no-one's thought of yet!!
I don't submit at my pre-wings rate any more, trying to limit myself to movies i've seen (for the most part) but am a regular visitor and forum lurker (and occasional contributor!)

My brother Markandlain put me on to the site in July 2003 and my wife has just started to speak to him again.
I was a tad obsessive in my first month clocking up 1000 reviews and an occasional nap. Since then (with the threat of divorce and the loss of my computer in the settlement) I have slowed my output considerably. I'd love to get back to a monthly rate of 100 published reviews but I doubt that'll happen.
