Morkeleb made a comment in the FYC that he's trying to get 100 reviews with double digits votes.
It got me to thinking that one of the fun things about this site is there are so many goals to strive for.
When I started, it was to get a review in the top 100 but I now know that's impossible unless you've been on this site for years. So, I'm trying to get 2,000 approvals by Dec. 31. My long-term goal is to have my first page all filled with 20-vote reviews.
What's everyone else shooting for? |

Ever since I gave up on being in the top 100 reviews, my goal has been to have 100% of my reviews have at least 1 vote. I'm nearly there at 98.69% according to my stats. Of course, this goal will also never be attained because I keep writing reviews. |

I'm more ranking-based. I don't even KNOW what an accolade is, and my reviews are way far from being all double-digitted, so I just keep reviewing and getting my numbers up, shooting for the next thousand, and the next ranking. . . . |

I'm with Mr. Cool here on trying to get votes on all my zero voted reviews. I'm very far from that goal, unfortunately. Another is to keep my review numbers high enough to keep me in the top 50 reviewers list. Finally, I want to have achieved all of my own accolades and 100 accolades that aren't ones I've made - and I'm getting closer on that one. |

Since I got the 1000 reviews, I've tried to avoid shooting for numeric goals.. trying to just make each review worth submitting these days, so am limiting myself to films I've seen, or reviews that have a decent joke.. I found that as I got near my numeric target, many some the reviews I submitted between 900 and 1000 dipped in quality so am trying to redress the balance lately!
Not sure if votes received is the most accurate measure of a review's quality, but i guess after a while on the site you can recognize a quality fwfr (or at least the styles you like), so if i'm happy with the reviews i submit, then that's probably close to what I'm aiming for these days. |

For today, I just want to get a Vanilla Sky review accepted. I don't think about having a review in the top 100, but I do have my eye on being in the top 100 reviewers. I'm at 120 right now, but geez, that #99 spot requires about 200 more reviews... most of which are sitting either in my pending list, or my declined list. *sigh* |

I don't have any FWFR goals at present. That could change as winter sets in and I'm housebound more. I'm outdoors caring for and training horses as much as possible while weather permits. |

Here are mine in order of priority:
1. Have no reviews with 0 votes. (I've managed to keep this aim most of the time for quite a long while.) 2. Have as good an average as possible. (At the moment, I'm aiming for 8, but if I got a lot of reviews or votes I'd aim for 7 or 9 just the same. Therefore, the goalposts for this goal will always move and so perhaps it doesn't count.) 3. Be in the top 100 reviewers. (I've managed this since one needed about 125 reviews to do so; 250 was enough for the top 50! I rose to about 62 or 64, stayed around there a long while, and then started falling.) 4. Have been in the top 100 reviews. (I once achieved this for a few days; I said at the time that I would be satisfied to have ever been there and this has turned out to be true.) 5. Be ahead of Alan Smithee. (This is not so much a goal, since I won't submit reviews on that basis, but it is important to me.) 6. Be in the top 50 reviewers. (I don't think that this will ever happen.) 7. Have no reviews with 1 vote. (This situation came along by accident, after a series of vote swaps, so I shall try to maintain it.) |

For the last couple of months my goal was to beat Teddychan's position.
Teddy you had ripped through the ranks like some sort of ascending angel and if you had continued there was no stopping you.
(Now there's a gauntlet if I ever saw one)
Now that that has happened I would like to hit the next level around christmas (a big target I know)...
...til then just keep enjoying the feisty fourum and the reel reviews as much as possible!!

I could achieve a goal of no 0-voted reviews overnight by merely deleting 1575 reviews.
if anyone else has a better solution, be my guest. |

ChocoLady, I tried to help you out with some of your zeros - there are a lot of films I don't know, though.
My fwfr goal is simply to submit a few reviews each week. With work, studies, and family, I don't get much time to do much else. I am slowly inching my way up to the 1000 review mark, so I guess that's a goal I'll be able to attain here in the next few weeks.

At the start of this year I asked everyone what their goals for the year where,
I set out a few goals which I think I have managed, but I can't find the original post.
Basically I wanna get my sunburn back! I would also like to stay in the top 10 and shot for the top 5, but that will never happen
I also want to stay happy and would love world peace and the stop in the decline of the polar ice caps.
