I just noticed that for reviews with 100+ votes (such as the top vote-getter for Basic Instinct), the Report button gets shoved down into a new line. This has no effect on functionality, it is merely aesthetically displeasing. Nonetheless, I thought I'd point this out. |

Okay, so I've been a bit sloppy keeping up with site maintenance and I've figured out a way to make it a little easier for everyone...
If you take a look on any page with reviews, you'll notice each review now has Report listed below it (just next to the vote stat). Clicking on this will offer you a screen to report a review as being a dupe, against the wrong film, etc... without needing to post here. For the record, the process will still be the same- I still go through them and decide if the problem is one that needs addressing or not, I just have a handy-dandy on-stop screen for doing this now.
As you may realise, more info will be needed for flagging dupes (a second review) and reviews assigned to the wrong film (the correct film), so I've also put in mechanisms for selecting these also- a pop-up film selection screen for the latter, and a return to the original film page whereby you once again click on Report below the dupe review for the former.
Hope this all makes sense
BTW, this doesn't mean I won't be going through the outstanding stuff listed in this fourum, I'm just saying try to use the Report function from now on and it should speed the process along some.
Cheers muchly, benj.
Thank you, Benj. You're always thinking of us! |

To rectify this, I've decided I'll iconify the review functions. This'll also free up some space for any future additions there. |

Benj, not sure if you have already set it up this way, but I'd suggest for your sanity that you make it accessible only to users ranked Movie Fan or above.
Remember that Christian site that took a quick look and thought we were wholesome? REPORT, REPORT, REPORT... |

I tried just now to use it via I.E., but it still didn't work (for a possible duplicate review; I think it has worked for something else), so it must be a general Mac thing. |

Advertise it as another "reward" for gaining higher status. People like getting rewards. |

Benj, when one clicks 'Report', could it please automatically open a new window? Since it's a dead end, one always wants to come out of it afterwards, and one would usually want to carry on on whatever page one previously were. It would just save the hassle of having to right click to open a new window (or otherwise). |
