Enter voting . . .

One note: In "Mulholland Falls," Jennifer Connelly is killed by being dropped thousands of feet from an airplane onto the desert earth. The police have a little trouble picking up the body, if you can imagine . . .

Four brand new and one from the bottom of the pile.

Note bene:

In "The Conversation" Gene Hackman plays a professional audio bugger.
A "plum role" is another way of saying a great part.
The disease in "28 Days Later" is called the Rage.
Forest Whitaker plays a thief called Burnham in "Panic Room".

A traffic jam when you're already late
A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break
It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
It's meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wife

This weeks FYC includes shaky camerawork on a spooky witch, a hatchet job for Leto, Japanese "Lord of the Flies", cowboys not knowing how to quit each other and a documentary on a pedophile and his family

Mampers "once again, Football Manager has taken over my life"

Yukon's Blair Witch Project: Wood-stalk made me laugh out loud, which always frightens the cats...

M0rkeleb, I didn't think anyone else had ever seen Return of the Secaucus 7.

And mampers.... I love Alanis Morissette, (she wrote Everything which ended up being a heartfelt tribute to my friend Ralph who died unexpectedly around the same time it came out) but I was always mystified by the song Ironic... almost all those things seemed more like bummers than ironies...

You're not wrong there Wildhartlivie - the only irony, ironically, is that none of her ironies are ironic!

V&V to here.

Red Pen's Surf & Thief (Point Break) deserves more votes!

I loved Conan's Departed review. However, it's a spoiler! I think there should be an official rule that if you have a spoiler review for a film that is still in theatres, then you should give a warning. I intentionally avoid looking up new movies in the FWFR that I plan on seeing. But in the FYC, if I don't know it's coming, then I can't avoid it. Fortunately I already saw The Departed.

Whatcha think Conan?

I'm in, however, this FYC contains spoilers from The Prestige.

It also contains a reference to Walter Matthau an Academy Award winner, who's character in The Odd Couple was named Oscar. The review might be a bit of a stretch because Matthau won his Academy Award for The Fortune Cookie, another comedy he costarred in with Jack Lemmon.
