I think I gave GHc. about seven votes, so he actually made a profit out of it.

Actually, I have to confess that I have not seen Return of the Secaucus 7. I only know about it because of an interest in Sayles, who wrote perhaps the best screenplay of all time for Lone Star.

I read Angelas Ashes a few months ago (I Know i'm ten years behind but there SO many books out there), you wouldn't want to be in a sad or depressed state before taking it up...

I was wondering who did that. Thanks, Salopian. Some of the ones you voted for are some of my favorites I've written.

I'm in, however, this FYC contains spoilers from The Prestige.

I wonder, though, if it's a good idea to include spoiler reviews for such a fresh movie in FYCTH. If your review becomes popular [that is, if enough people have already seen the movie and like your take], it'll get on the Best Reviews page and then PRESTIGE virgins may stumble upon it. Just a nibble for thought.

Hmmm. You're right. I won't do it anymore. I also hate spoilers for any movie, especially ones that are out in theaters. I don't mind if people purposefully avoid my FYC during a week in which I have spoilers because I would avoid others' FYC under the same circumstances. Although it was very considerate of Salopian to vote for other reviews of mine, I would not think of him as inconsiderate if he didn't.

Agreed, Sally acted honorably. As usual.

Although I would never try to impose my personal inclinations upon another fwiffer's enjoyment of this site in whichever way happens to blow hisser skirt up, I nevertheless think you have made a wise choice.

I'll always remember a post of benj's a while ago, before there were MERPs and he was still the only fwfr editor. He was sitting in a movie theater waiting for the feature to start, and judging reviews on his laptop to kill time. Then came a fwfr submission that spoiled the very movie he was waiting to see!!!

Again, regards for your consideration of other fwiffers.

THE BIG CHILL is basically a SECAUCUS 7 wannabe with higher production values.

Hey, don't feel too bad - I'm just now finishing Harry Potter 4 (my son insisted because we bought the DVD of the movie).

As for Angela's Ashes - truth is, it is best to read that when you ARE depressed. Makes you realize how good your life is.

(And yes, I've voted everyone till here.)

Well, I liked my Blair Witch review (Wood-stalk) but the mighty Benji just ruled that it's too generic. Sadly, it had 14 votes when it was shot down

So in it's place for the rest of the round, I submit:
The Nymph Sense(Lady in the Water).
