Argh. It appears you have spoiled Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for me if I am not mistaken. Spoiler reviews should have warnings.

Votes coming your way in appreciation LadyM. I have not yet visited pages and also have not seen that film, but am very keen to.

Yes, that I know. But it is a direct wink at the infamous scene from Requiem for a Dream, where Jennifer Connelly's character and another hooker have their asses "finger cuffed" to each other with a double sided dildo, with the audience (in the film, not the cinema) shouting: "ASS TO ASS! ASS TO ASS! ASS TO ASS!"

O.K. Have never seen it. It would therefore be better as "Ass to ass!", to make it clear to people that it is a quotation. (The capitalisation of the second 'Ass' isn't right in either sense.) Have voted now though.

Sorry about that.

My personal view on this is that if I have not seen the movie reviewed i ignore that review but not the others.

Anyway it hasn't been totally spoiled as anyone who has seen the movie will agree?

The rule is to read all five reviews; if one missed out the films one hasn't seen, that would mean skipping a big proportion of reviews, most of which wouldn't contain spoilers. Also, when looking at just five reviews, especially if one has to check each title anyway, it is not likely that one would not take in their content. As has been discussed in previous rounds, if one submits a spoiler, the post should say something like "My F.Y.C. contains a spoiler for X".

And it's worse to have said that. Now LadyMeerkat, who has read the review, knows that there is something extra on top of that, which means that she(?) won't be able to help guessing at it (very possibly successfully) when she sees the film.
