One note on an obscure film:
Broken Rainbow is about how the U.S. gov't forced the Hopi Indians off of their ancestral homeland, and there is little hope of them regaining their land.

Merry Chrismas and all that!
Back, after a 2-month absence or so. You can all blame Laura for that one. I guess my focus has been elsewhere lately. FWFRing is great fun... but not THAT much fun.
I like the new Top 100 Lists features brought in in the meantime, especially as I'm actually in them! (Whereas I'm still way off the pace in the traditional list as I'm a slow coach.)
I've only written one new review since October so I guess I'd better get a bit of work done this Christmas and get back into the swing of things.
My FYC reviews this time have all been approved since I've been away, so from my point of view they're relative new ones.

Air, being raised in Michigan and having weathered (heh heh) 4 Chicago winters, I have a standard response whenever someone here in the South talks about being jealous of snow:
"Yes, snow is very beautiful . . . That's why God made postcards!"
