Right now, these are all brief .wav files -- about 30 seconds apiece -- but I suppose I could turn them into one MP3 file. But I don't have a website or any place to put them. I was wondering if any of you FWFRers knew of a place which hosted audio files. If so, I could put a few of these up for people to peruse, and other FWFRers could record themselves doing famous movie monologues (not just the ones at that website) in the voices of various characters. We could even turn it into a little contest.
Any takers?
I like this idea. I'd like to hear them, and might even have a crack at one or two myself.
I don't have a website or know of anywhere to host them though, hopefully someone else has an idea. YouTube perhaps? |

Although a soft-voiced gal, I like to think I do a decent Ahnolt, "I'm prrroudt of da hummah." And, "Do you like a schtogie?"
When younger, I did a fair Gomer Pyle, "Surprise, surprise, surprise!"
I do Grover Monster pretty well.
When I was a very odd child, I could imitate goats, sheep, chickens, and of course, horses. |

Well, I've made an MP3 of the first five speeches available for free download here:
http://www.savefile.com/files/540002
You'll hear Nixon doing the "napalm in the morning speech," then Bullwinkle's version of "you can't handle the truth." Andy Kaufman says he "coulda been a contender," Droopy reads Ezekial 25:17, and Professor Frink tells us why "greed is good." Enjoy or don't. |
