Yes, please do not do that. I don't get why people Smithee reviews they are uncomfortable with - as if it absolves them. Your review is not too bad taste, so you shouldn't worry about it - there are many far worse than that.
Making something right when you've done wrong is a good idea and deleting a bad review isn't a bad idea, I've done a lot of it. I plan to be a pastor someday and I can't have crass reviews tied to my name because of my own immaturity (not saying that everyone with crass reviews is immature but for me it was). |

Well I'm glad I'm not planning to be a pastor or I'd end up back at Movie Goer. |

I totally agree. I just meant that I feel people ought to actually delete reviews that are inappropriate. (I don't mean yours as an example of this.) Smitheed reviews still exist just the same, except the writers are then protected from being asked about them. |

I don't usually explain 'em, but you asked nicely, so...
RASHOMON is a famous film by Akira Kurosawa in which the events surrounding a killing are related by [I think] five different people, so you get five different versions of the same occurrence.
GO uses the same unusual format: three different people describe what happens after a drug deal, and it's recreated three times. So it's essentially RASHOMON, only about drugs.
"Hash" is short for "hashish," which doesn't really figure into the movie at all, but it's a common expression connoting the "drug culture." "Hash" rhymes with "rash," so I just had to change one little letter, and I was very proud of myself. Worth your vote?
[These reviews are just like magic tricks: when you explain 'em, they tend to lose their charm.] |

I always thought that the first of these two was not appreciated. You have to get the 'Austin' reference which is made obvious in the second review.

Nice!! I miss the childlike wonder with which i used to sit cross legged infront of the TV watching the Bionic Man and his slo-mo speed and strength. |
