Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
I want something's flesh. Don't threaten ChocolateLady with a dead fish. wildhartlivie's gone on holiday by mistake. An expert on bulls turrell is not. Here. Mr Stupid. Here. I will say one thing for Josh the cat, he keeps a sensational cellar! BaftaBabe demands to have some booze. As a youth, Whippersnapper used to weep in butcher's shops. Why can't Shiv drink coffee out of a cup like a normal human being? What's your name, MacredPen? tortoise is like a dozen transatlantic flights without ever getting off the plane. Half an hour? Don't be ridiculous. Conan The Westy needs at least an hour for lunch. Alas, bife has little more than vintage wine and memories. Those are the kind of windows Randall looks in at. Beanmimo wants the finest wines available to humanity. He wants them here, and he wants them now! Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a BiggerBoat on the prowl outside with eels. If damalc ever sees that silage-heap hanging about up here, he'll take the bastard axe to him. Bastards! Yukon's preparing himself to forgive you. And if R o k G o 7 f spikes you, you'll know you've been spoken to. Imagine getting into a fight with MisterBadIdea. M0rkeleb is feeling better and is now prepared to step back into society and start tossing his orb about. Why can't rabid kazook have an audition? Salopian's not from London, you know. Sludge's obsessed with its guts. demonic loathes those Russian plays. Always full of women staring out of windows, whining about ducks going to Moscow. lemmycaution thinks the carrot infinitely more fascinating than the geranium. I think we better release chazbo from the legumes and transfer his talents to the meat. koli's getting the fear.
Ali, I thought this was an amusing way to lay out the fycth entrants until I stumbled across Dalmacs spoiler for Dreamgirls!!
Alas, we live and learn. |

Ok Sludge, you got me. WHat does Oedipus have to do with "Live Nude Shakespeare"?
And don't tell me its a complex relationship.
The fact that Shakespeare did not write a play about Oedipus sure didn't prevent 3 people from voting for the review!

How confusing. How did it get passed in the first place? |

Don't get the 'here' part
Well, cause you quoted Sal's post and unknowingly posted it on a grey panel (like this one) the spoiler is revealed. So now I know what happens in "Them".
Best way round that is not to actually detail the spoiler in the post of course... |

4/5 - so far. I am just about to reveal myself as the most dense fwiffer and will probably be evicted
I don't get Huns, Forrest, Huns
I've looked for characters named Forrest and checked to see if forest can be spelled with with a rr. Help
I also found a review for SPR 'Bloody Omaha Beach battle'. I understand that even less. That's got be for another film - don't you think?
(I hope people don't mind me checking on these reviews? The Spiderman one was very clever despite my not getting it without the explanation).

It's a reference to Forrest Gump, '"Run, Forrest, run!!" screamed Ginnny' And SPR had Huns (old slang/even rascist name for Germans up to during SWW and some of it was set in a forest)

As far as my history stretches Omaha was the name given to one of the Normandy beaches they stormed at that time in the war. I'm presuming that this is the beach featured in SPR. Or at least I'm in the right ballpark.

Thank-you - it was just me being dense
Sometimes I am really bad at picking up the references to other films/characters played by actors in other films. (The Spiderman one was the same thing.) You live and learn
5/5 for Yukon then
As for Omaha Beach - you are right. That's obviously me showing my ignorance of WWII battles |

Five - Because Shakespeare was inspired by Sophocles Oedipus Rex when he wrote Hamlet.
Got everyone so far, including the bolt.
Sorry to both BiggerBoat and Sal, but I'd already voted on 4 out of 5 of both your FYC's, so I went to both your pages and hit a few more as compensation.

If Hamlet had slept with his mother, I'd vote for it too. |

And he didn't even kill his father either, and for those of you living in a remote part of some unexplored rainforest who haven't read/seen hamlet performed, that is not a spoiler. |
