I don't know - but your post just sent me cross-eyed! I hope there are no words of wisdom in there that I'm missing out on

No more than usual I'm afraid.

My Monday offerings.

Hints:

Babershop: Cedric The Entertainer plays a barber who says controversial things such as "The only thing Rosa Parks did was sit her ass on a bus" and "No black person wants to admit that O.J. Simpson did it."

New Orleans Story: The Louisana Superdome is the stadium in New Orleans where everyone stayed.

When that Averylle with his shoures soote
The droughte of March / hath pierced to the roote
And bathed every veyne in swich lycour
Of which vertu engendred is the flour

If thou thoughte I was goinge to wryte that backwards thou hast another thoughte comyng.

But here is a sort of semi-translation into modern parlance (for which I claim no credit whatsoever):

Whan that April with his showres soote
The droughte of March hath pierced to the roote,
And bathed every veine in swich licour,
Of which vertu engendred is the flowr;

G Chaucer, Esq. - Canterbury Tales

Alternatively:
When sweet April showers
Soak March to the roots
And bathe all the shoots
That give rise to the flowers;

V&V to here. Both The Prof and Chris C got 5/5 from me.

But the best review of the round goes to MOrkeleb: The Hustler -- "The B/W of Money"
It took me a second to get it. The Hustler was filmed in black and white, and its sequel was The COLOUR of Money.
C'mon folks! It deserves way more votes!
