I had submitted "From zero to 1/0" as Ramanujam started as a nobody and ended up as a man who knew infinity. It has been rejected and I've resubbed it as "From zero to x/0."

Nice. My own is still my favourite so far, though...

It has been rejected again.

Weirdly, I've already had my "Cab 1729? Interesting number!" review rejected as "factually inaccurate". I even included a link to the famous story.

In brief, Ramanujan's mentor comes to India to visit him. Ramanujan is dying. The mentor takes cab 1729 to his house, and tells him he's sorry the cab number wasn't more interesting. Ramanujan immediately points out that 1729 is the smallest number that is the sum of 2 cubes in two different ways.) I can't imagine this story not being in the film, since it is legendary among mathematicians, so I wonder how my review can be inaccurate.

So 1729 isn't an interesting number?

btw, 2 movies are being made on this guy. So, it shd fit at least one film - it is too important to be left out. Check the article on Wikipedia. The other film doesn't seem to be listed on IMDB though.

There were previously two on the I.M.D.B., one as The Man Who Knew Infinity and one as Untitled Srinivasa Ramanujan Project. I got the impression that this was due to confusion and that there was really just one project. Wikipedia makes it seem like there are indeed two, but this could still be confusion. Even if not, I doubt both will go ahead, although it would be convenient for a certain accolade if they did.

Well, I think we can safely declare Rockgolf as the definitive winner of this round (which I expect to be the only round where there can be a winner).

Thanks, but I consider Rockfsh's review better than mine and your review to be Top 100-worthy.

Rockfsh's is very good - the different sense of outnumbers is very nice. And thanks (again) re: mine. However, when reviews are of a similar age and have had similar exposure, the objective measure is votes.
