Greetings FWFR Gang!

I'd like to do an accolade, but it will depend on everyone's help. It will be called The Raspberry and I can promise a lovely [and moving] trophy.

I readily admit this one's inspired by a recent post about worst films. So the gist is:
Can you please suggest ONE and ONE ONLY of your particularly worst ever films. It needn't be the VERY worst, only one you'd place on your own particular list.

Actually I've been thinking of a way to include you all in one of my accolades, and I hope this will entice you.

BIG THANKS in advance for all your help.

Just reviewing my movie ratings... apparently I LOVE to hate. Too many to choose from. Guess I'll go with a more recent disaster...

Bloodmoon

I felt totally ripped off...

Edit: I just had a look at my scores (I score everything I watch) and that one is the only zero.... apart from Birth of a Nation which I could just as easily have given 5...

There is a flaw in the scoring system. Films used to be able to score above 5, but for some time there has been a limit of 5. (Thus when I am the only scorer and give 6/5, e.g. here, it gives the overall score as 5/5.) I assumed that equivalently films could not now get below 1/5, but 0/5 is displaying here. Benj, shouldn't the extremities be consistent?

I also don't like how it now gives 0/5 for unrated films. It used to say "yet to be rated" or something.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Apparently they're making a film about the demise of Anna Nicole Smith:

"Implants Of The Caribbean: Dead Woman's Chest".

I guess we're encouraged to pick on more famous/popular bad movies here. I guess my pick will be Dune (1984).

There are too many recent movies so far, so make mine The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit.

I watched it once in a film class. Some of my notes (paraphrased):

God fuck this meandering bore of a movie.
This movie has eroded a little of my will to live.
DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!
Why do you keep torturing yourself watching this movie?

That last one was a play on something Gregory Peck said oh God stop making me remember.

Reform School Girls (1994) a collection of bad girl prison cliches with some of the worst acting ever recorded on film. The ending is preposterous and they even go for the Susie went on to be graduated from Harvard Medical...

Wretched!! Oh and also had a small role for Matt LeBlanc of Friends fame who did not help out the acting quotient of the film.

The movie is almost bad enough that they must have been trying to be tongue in cheek, but then I checked and it was straight - no spoof.

Even the fight scenes were awful - punches that missed ny a good foot or two.

IMDB has it rated at a 3.7 out of 10 - I think this is probably because of a little nudity, but its not worth it (sorry Sean).

Surely among huge piles of dross, Titanic has to be up there (down there?) with the worst of them. How it ever won all those Oscars I shall never know (or care). And to cap it all, they had Celine Dion wailing her heart out at the end.

Summary: A huge pile of utter cack.

YECH!!!

The Raspberry is now in bloom!

At the moment it consists of the dozen films suggested here, but please do continue to add your choices. One film per customer, please!

As you add them, I'll incorporate them into the accolade. I hope you all have fun working through the films that other FWFRers hate!

I can't thank you enough for your help ... it would literally be nothing without you!
